My second art effort for
spn_reversebang went up today! The original person who claimed the art flaked out, but it turned out not to be such a big hardship, as my pinch hitter is totally awesome!
reapertownusa wrote a Claire!Cas/Dean story where Claire has aged several years and becomes Castiel's new vessel after Jimmy was blowed up for good. Cas tries to continue from where he and Dean left off, but Dean has many issues with Claire being the new vessel. It's a really great story with realistic reactions from Dean and supportive Sammy. ^_^
The story:
Somewhere I Belong My art:
Art Masterpost I made a bunch of new pieces of art that are supposed to be pages from Claire's scrapbook. I'd love some more feedback and reaction to them; they were really fun to make. ^_^ Except for the F word and some pics of half-naked angels, the scrapbook pages are pretty G-rated overall. Claire's age and attitude toward the angels and Dean change over the course of the scrapbook.
I have to say,
spn_reversebang has been the best Big Bang experience I've had so far. Both people I worked with were excellent and very open to collaborating, with great communication. I definitely plan to do this again next time. The mods are great as well. I know the claiming process didn't go that well for some people, but it looks like the mods will learn from their mistakes, and they definitely care very much about running the community on time. I've seen some Big Bang disasters where the mods clearly lost interest in running the BB about a week after they opened it, or made stupid mistakes and were too stubborn to learn a thing from them, and this BB definitely wasn't a disaster. Bravo!!
Oh, ducky, I made the Cabbage Rolls last night. They came out really good! I was surprised by how easy they rolled up; I thought the cabbage would give me a lot of trouble, but it folded up over the meatballs nicely. They're good! Numnumnum! I'm going to give some to my landlady too. ^_^ I may try some flavored rice next time I make them. The plain white rice is a little lacking in flavor, and I can only imagine how much yummier they could be with some flavored rice.
