The guy who created this LJ layout created something really gorgeous. I love it.
It'll be a while before I get this community up and running, but there it be.
The lady who cut my hair this time around did a nice job. She put "long layers" in it and it's so bouncy and kicky. I really like it. ^_^ It'll look nice for job interviews and stuff. Speaking of that, a while ago, I found a blazer on sale at Sears for $12, and it looks really nice. I've been needing one of those for ages. I'm gonna get me a goddamn job this summer so I can move and buy new crap. Then I can unpack and finally find that goshdurn cd-recorder manual. At this point, I'm giving up on finding it. Everytime I get in that closet, I have to move boxes out of the way to get to a particular box I want to look through, and some of them are really heavy and there's no place to put them once they come out of the closet unless I want to carry them all the way into the living room. Not fun. There's one more box I'm going through that came from under my bed that is full of papers and computer print-outs; even if I don't find the manual, I can at least throw some shit away.
Saw Zodiac. I thought it was sort of boring until the last 40 minutes or so. That might be because I already knew a lot of the info from the rest of the movie and the last 40 minutes was all exciting new stuff I didn't know. (Also, when a huge part of your movie is people talking in offices, it's hard to keep it exciting.) I'm still giggling my ass off over the fact that one of the suspects was named RICK MARSHALL. No wonder they never caught the Zodiac; he fell over a waterfall into the Land of the Lost! The Zodiac, Will, and Holly, on a routine expedition...
The whole time, I kept remembering those great lines from Copycat (paraphrased):
"Nobody in this department has ever worked a serial killer case, Sir."
"What do you mean? I have."
"The Zodiac?"
"Yes."
"Sir, did they ever catch the Zodiac, or did he die of old age?" :X Face!
