The weather people were saying that the snow wasn't going to be this bad, then they changed their tune shortly before we got all this snow dumped on us. We really did get an amazing amount of snow for Dallas!

Around here, it's snowed so much I've finally gotten tired of it. And *that's* something I really never thought I'd be saying.

Yeah, you guys have been getting a shit ton of snow this week. The only reason I'm so hyper about it is because we don't get snow like this hardly ever.

Oh man, I used to love snow back when I lived in Seattle. Then I moved to eastern Washington and I now hate snow with a fiery passion. Back in Seattle, if you got 4 inches of snow, the whole city would shut down and school would be canceled. Out in the eastern part of the state, I've seen snow drifts higher than my head (keeping in mind I'm only 2 inches shy of 6 feet tall) and I've had one snow day the whole eight years I've lived here! Also, it's a pain in the ass to drive on.

Richardson is pretty stingy about the snow days too. They were almost always one of the last districts to declare a snow day when I was a kid. Which always drove me crazy, considering how infrequently we get snow here. Just let us off school so we can play in it! :D

I know my snow is nothing compared to what you get, but it was still pretty hard to trudge through in the places where it was really thick. I feel for ya having to drive and walk in snow that high.

I'd put some in an envelope and mail it to you, but I don't think it would survive the trip. ;)
