Cue the banjos!

Here's me geeking out over my Supernatural/Land of the Lost fusion for au_bigbang: I wrote the new theme song. (Not really; this is more the silly version until I decide to stop being silly.)

John Winchester, Dean, and Sam, on a routine expedition, met the greeeeeatest earthquake ever known... BOOM!... high on the mountain, it struck their bigass car, Son of a biiiiiiitch!... and plunged them down a thousand feet below... to the laaaaand of the lost, lost, lost, lost, lost... to the laaaaaaand of the loooooost, rrrrrr, to the laaaaand of the lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, lost, lost... dar nar nar nar, nar nar nar... RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!

I am describing it as: The Winchesters and the Harvelles are forest ranger families and they get tossed into the Land of the Lost. There they will battle badass sci-fi stuff, dinosaurs, and hostile lizard men. The 1990's LotL and the Will Farrell movie will have no bearing on the original, totally kickass land of Altrusia that I'll be writing about.

Now I just have to decide what will be the major focus of the story. There are too many cool possibilities and I'm having trouble deciding what I want to write. I know they have to become acclimated with their new home, meet a few dinosaurs, and talk to the Zarn. Beyond that, I'm undecided. Dean wants to figure out how to make beer. But, bigass multi-color pigs means BACON!

I'm glad I'm excited about this story since almost no one else will be. XD

In other news, it looks like everything will be okay with unemployment. I should still receive moola every couple weeks for a few more months, so I just have to get a job in that amount of time. Calgon, find me a job! It would help if employers would stop JERKING ME AROUND. I may rant about that later.
