SPN flailage! HOORAY, Nuby is dead! I only wish Dean had stabbed her repeatedly with much gusto, but I'm just happy that he killed the bitch. I think that scene would have been even more awesome if handled by a capable actress. I mean, last week, Nuby was AFRAID of Dean. Was Ruby afraid of Dean ever when she was acted by Katie? Remember when Dean had that fight with her at the end of season 3 and Ruby was just angry and didn't seem afraid of Dean at all? She just kicked ass. Remember when Sam put the Colt up against her chest? Was she afraid? Remember all the times Dean tried to kill her in season 3? Was she ever afraid then? Facing down Bobby and DARING him to shoot her with the Colt? Now she's afraid? Gen Cortese, you are out of your element, and I'm glad you won't be back to this show, because you never gave a shit about playing this character right. Too bad, so sad, goodbye.
LOVED the angst with Castiel and doing the right thing, and how he didn't understand why the world should be saved anymore after all the pain he'd felt from Dean. And his bewilderment when Dean said he'd take all the pain if it meant he could just live and be happy with his Sammy. VERY nice.
LOLed when Dean punched Castiel and it was like "TINK!" like Cas was made of steel, and Dean turned away with his hand hurting. The curious look on Cas's face was priceless. He didn't even get mad. Like, "Hm, why'd you do that?" XD Love it.
Maybe I'll talk more about it later. Just sitting here typing and getting all excited for the episode has worn me out. Stupid whatever I have.
