Things I dislike

Things I dislike lately:

1. Picspams that are "not dial-up user friendly." Gee, thanks for deliberately excluding me when you don't have to.

2. People who stand in a revolving door, waiting for me to enter all nice and polite, and then practically run with the door, making me have to hurry to keep from being knocked down by the door behind me. My little legs only move so fast.

3. People who enter the revolving door behind me and then practically run with the door, making me have to hurry to keep from getting knocked down from the back or thrown out the door from the front. One of these days, I'm just going to be shot out of there and go flying across the plaza of my workplace. If someone else is in the revolving door, don't move so fucking fast! They might be short.

4. The fact that every crazy, slow, drunk, or dumbass person in America has been directed to call Grey Dawg this week and I get all their calls.

5. The fact that people think transportation companies can see the future and already know what the tropical storm is going to do. "Will any schedules be cancelled this week due to the tropical storm?" "If the storm shuts down the roads, yes." "Well, is that going to happen?" "I'm not sure. Let me consult my Grey Dawg-issue crystal ball..."

Anyway.

All of you in the path of the tropical storm, stay safe! I'll be watching out for you.

I finished season 2 of "Dark Angel" the other night. Alec has definitely become my second favorite Jensen Ackles character ever. He's almost as lovable and great as Dean. I love how he grew over the season from a wiseguy thief to a trusted friend, a regular member of Max's gang. Well, he was still a thief, but I still loved his guts out. Regularly wanted to squish him to my breast and ruffle his hair. Besides being sexy, he was just plain cute, a lovable big brother type. I loved his couch potato tendencies. Sitting around watching "the boob tube" and snacking. God that was cute. I totally cracked up when Alec needed to stay with Joshua, and he's like "I know where I can score a tv" and then they show the tv and it says, "Property of Harbor Lights Hospital" on it. XD I wanna know how the hell he got that thing out of the hospital. Alec made the show watchable.

I still think "Dark Angel" is stupid. I'm not sure why. All I know is that when I watch it, I repeat over and over, "This is stupid." But certain episodes were written pretty decently. I think there are certain elements that make it stupid to me. One is the animal/human hybrids. I just don't get into the idea in general. Which is ironic, since I have characters in my rpg with tails, but really, that's about as far into the animal/human thing as I go. Wings are cool too. People with dog faces? Pfft. I like Joshua as a character; he's sweet. I like the lizard guy who was prominently featured in the last couple of episodes. But, do they get me off? Not so much!

(More on the lizard guy - I can't remember his name. But he cracked me up. "Oh, that hurts." BANG! His dry wit was fun.)

Other stupid elements: Jessica Alba and the guy who plays Logan. Alba can't act and Logan is a dork. Seriously, if I had to see one more shot of Max looking sad and wibbling, I was going to scream. I am convinced that her entire career is based on those huge dick-sucking lips. Jensen has huge dick-sucking lips too, but he can act, so those lips are awesome. When they're all you have, it's pathetic. Logan - do any chicks actually find him attractive? He's just... ugh. *shudder* Such a dork with those dorky legs in those goofy super-powered leg braces. I don't know why I found them so stupid; I just didn't find it at all neat. Every time he's on the screen, I just keep going, "Dork. Pfft. Dork. Shut up dork." *FFwd* "Wait, Alec!" *Rewind*

Even so, I don't want Max or Logan with anyone else. Don't care so much if they are together, I just don't want either one with Alec. So, might as well put them together since they still love each other. Whatever. I was disappointed that by the end of the season, the writers still hadn't cured Max's stupid virus that made it impossible for her to touch Logan without killing him. First of all, STUPID. How do you engineer a virus to kill only one person, especially when you don't even know who that person is?! (Not like they even knew who Eyes Only was!) Maybe I shouldn't have FFwed through most of this... would it have made more sense? Anyway, stupid idea to begin with, but how can you let it go on for that long? That virus should have been cured by the middle of the season. Pfft.

Anyway, who does that leave for Alec? The only person I liked him with romantically was Rachel, the girl he accidentally got killed. (That was her name, wasn't it?)

The season finale (that turned out to be the series finale) was pretty exciting. I didn't know it was an extended episode, so when it got closer and closer to 45 minutes and the threat still wasn't neutralized, I got really tense, thinking it was going to end in some kind of ultra-evil cliffhanger from hell. But it just kept going. Phew! I don't know where they would have gone with the show after that, but I am glad it got cancelled, because if it hadn't, Jensen probably would have stayed with "Dark Angel" and might not have ever done "Supernatural." As much as I love Alec, Dean rules.

I have a question. How do we know what Alec's assumed last name is? It was never mentioned on the show. Unless it was mentioned in a scene I FFwed...

alec on dark awful, babbling
