Good Movies are Good
I went and saw "How to Train Your Dragon" with Brandon and a few of his friend's Friday. I wanted to see the movie since I first saw trailers for it but I wasn't expecting such a great film in the least. I have to say, if you don't get a chance to see it in the theatre, do try and rent it because it's a wonderful film. Where I was expecting over-done cliche's and a trite plot, I got a typical story type done absoltuely right with plenty humor to keep you laughing the whole way through. The characters are so loveable and understandable from every angle. I enjoyed myself the entire way through, which is definitely a bonus! Oh, do go see it! You will not regret it.
I love the fact we get to see movies together so often. This year alone I've seen a new movie every few weeks, which is amazing considering I typically only ever see a couple of films in the theatre all year. Partly the reason is because there have actually been movies I wanted to see for a change and also because I have someone open to seeing them with me. I'm going to get to see "Hot Tub Time Machine" on Easter, which I've been looking forward to like crazy. XD
I am currently Spring Cleaning like crazy. Since Brandon said he'd come for Easter, I feel the need to clean the upstairs this week. It's been a project I've been working on every couple of weeks, throwing out massive amounts of crap I've managed to keep over the years, but it's really coming along nicely now. It will also put me ahead of the game when I start sewing on ACen stuff! :3 So excited~
I finally drew up a design for my Steampunk outfit for Dragon*Con. :O Plus I agreed to sew a friend's wedding dress before September! Oh my...I will be busy! I think with a more organized work space I can actually make it work.
