For now, I'm going to decide not to transfer out of the University of Maryland. After all, I know of no other desirable institution in which I can receive two bachelors degrees and one masters in a matter of four years. Also, I read in one of those college guide books that when students say college is the best four years of their lives, UMD is one of the common places they are probably referring to. Sure, it may not have the Wall Street reputation I am looking for, but I can manage (especially since I don't know if Wall Street is for me. Who wants to spend agres 22 through 24 in front of a double computer screen working 100-hour weeks doing the same partial integrals over and over again? Not me).
I think part of my situation is the fact that I don't think I will get onto Wall Street from UMD. If I do, so be it. If I don't, I'll live.
I'd rather get shitfaced every night of the week, get a good education, and live out my four years of college.
I am out of the office at 2 today. So hyped.
