yes, I love Ariel, I love The Little Mermaid, it is my favorite movie. Well, one of the many. Dont you wish you could be Ariel? Dont deny it, I know its true. :p

No, I'm a coward when it comes to Ursula, she almost made me cry in the second grade.

hi ashley. sarah told me to say hi. so hi. i don't know if i met you or not, but i've been up to visit sarah a couple times.

although i too loved the little mermaid back in the day (just ask sarah about ariel's voice competitions) i must say that looking back on it now, it's pretty much an affront to feminism.
i mean, how's this for enforcing gender roles:
"this one's longing to be thin, and that one wants to get the girl, and do i help them...? yes i do, those poor unfortunate souls..."

well I still love her and the movie, but thank you for your opinion, i respect that. :o) I am a hopeless romantic to the core and some things will never change. :o) and I love using faces in my typing, can ya tell?

it's cool. hopeless romanticism doesn't have to equal non-feminism though :)

I agree with feminism to a point, I know I owe a lot to feminism and I am grateful for that but I think some people will take it to the extreme and that is where i tend to disagree with them. But yes, I agree with you romance and feminism can at some point mix.

I do remember meeting you. It has been a while since you were here though. You should visit again soon! :o)
