Maria-sama ga Miteru
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I used a be a very avid anime fan who would look each season for series that looked like they'd be interesting or good (I would actually like to return to this way). Maria-sama just had such beautiful looking artwork I had to give the series a shot. After watching it.. it took a couple of episodes for it to really suck me in and from there I was hooked!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'll stay in it, I usually do to some extent or another ^__^. I'm a Rosa in one of the communities so it's not like Maria-sama is ever that far from my mind (and I have a wonderful kawaii petite!). I still have some novels left to read, manga, and ... yes even episodes. I was a little bit of a slacker turtle on keeping up with things.. but! At least I haven't run out of material yet!
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Oh... now that is a tough one. I'm partial to episodes with Sei in them (she's such an interesting character!) though... I like Yoshino eps.. and of course Yumi and Sachiko eps... and... I can't narrow this down.... love Shimako too..... *rambles off*. I rather prefer season one so far (I've watched season 1, 2 and some of the OVA).
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Discussions yes, drawings yes, and graphics yes. As of yet I have not written a fanfic. I was however working on a video game which... I should get back to.. (I have several sprites completed...must make tilesets ...).
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Of course! It's unique and beautiful. I wouldn't think it's for everyone.
Watership Down
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
It's hard to say really. I used to read almost constantly in elementary school and I tended to prefer stories which involved animal leads. I know my grandmother had a copy.. and well.. I was quite the rabbit maniac too. I collected .. a lot of rabbit goods (which I find humorous considering my later obsession with Sailor Moon.. featuring a main character named bunny... etc etc). Once I read this book.. I read it over and over. Very interesting read!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I'm staying the course XD! I read the second collection of short stories, watched the movie, and cartoons... helped make a personality quiz for it.. the works! Actually I was thinking about reading it again.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
First one. The second one just feels watered down and definately not as epic.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Somewhat *points back to question 2*, I've also played Bigwig and Captain Holly in a couple of rps.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Definately. It deals with a lot of tough issues however .. and there is some sadness too it... so not for everyone. It's epic though!
Bugs Bunny
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I have absolutely no idea. Probably my parents..? Or the cartoons were just on tv all the time? I loved cartoons.. especially ones that could make you laugh. The wise-cracking rabbit easily weedled into my heart. I used to imitate him ^__^;... and hence... how I learned I had an affinity for carrots too.. Plus.. remember.. I was rabbit OBSESSED.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Well.. I'm not quite as freakish about it but I'd love it if Warner Brothers would get it together and revive the whole Looney Toons gang. Though.... they might mess them up horribly these days.... so..... maybe not ^__^;.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
Rabbit season, Duck season, Rabbit season, Duck season... I love eps where Bugs could play off of Daffy, among others ^__^. Playing off of Marvin the Martian was cute too.. and the Barber of Seville was great XD.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
I still can't seem to draw heem very well... I don't really do much for this fandom currently.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
YES! Old cartoons for the win! I love my anime but there's also something to be said for older cartoons from over here. They're like apples and oranges and I want the whole Fruits Basket... (bad pun intended).
