1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

yamiko You don't have to do it if you don't want to. I dislike it when memes try to force survival by being like YOU HAVE TO TAG X PEOPLE THEY HAVE TO DO IT OH NOOOOES

2. How do you style your hair?
Lots of ways, since I'm a
longhair. But the most common way is an english braid. I also love four strand braids, and I'll often go on a herringbone braid kick.
for shampoo, I use
solid shampoo and a little solid conditioner every other day, with some diluted apple cider vinegar after the conditioner.
3. What are you wearing now?
Velour pants, a Shenandoah Shakespeare Company shirt, and one of those wrap sweaters. This is my "bum around the house" gear. X)
4. What's your occupation?
Writer with delusions of grandeur
5. What do you hear right now?
's Truagh Nach Do Dh'fhuirich Mi Tioram Air Tir by Tri. It's a pretty gaelic song.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
SNUGGLES aka John-chan.
7. What is/was for dinner?
I am actually also making spaghetti for dinner! With meatballs and garlic bread. Speaking of, I should take out the ground beef. *does so*
8. What did you do today?
Uh... nothing so far, really. I'm about to get cracking on Angry Remembrance art. Yesterday was exciting, though--I went to the quilt shop hop with my mom and the
King Arthur Flour Baker's Store. They have a lot of weird hard to finding baking supplies, like pullman loaf pans, dough scoopers, and English muffin rings, not to mention hard to find extracts, leavenings and flours.
Cue the following conversation:
Mom: That was kind of neat, but I can't imagine what you would use all that stuff for. I didn't even know what most of it was.
Kathy: Sounds like what I was thinking when we went to like, six different quilt shops.
Seriously, I have been to six quilt shops over the past two days, and I'm going to more on monday. My mom is a compulsive fabric buyer.
Friday I also went to the VT Country Store. I got some glass mason mugs there (been looking for those!) good hair day clips (they're great) and some FUUUUUUDGE
9. Dog person or cat person?
Both. If I was forced to be with one on a deserted island, though, I'd say dog. (For one, you could train the dog to help you. Doing that with a cat would be much more onerous.)
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
...Does "Kate" count?
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
I bought a cake strip (makes your cakes bake flat instead of with that annoying dome on the top), 3 gel food colors--blue, yellow, red, and brown--and Washington Cherry flavor oil and Hazelnut flavor oil.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Scotland! Don't even have to second guess that one.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
...A writer whose delusions of grandeur have come true?
14. Where's your birthmark?
I don't think I have one. I have a big mole on my armpit. ~More info than you required~
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Working. I goofed off friday.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
...I already do play one, it's the shuttle pipes. That's kind of the musical instrument I want to play, so... yeah.
Though I'd love to learn the Northumbrian pipes. They sound like super nintendo music, only awesomer.
