i'm so tired and am completely procrastinating on homework. bleh.
i had a great weekend though.
friday and saturday i got drunk after each closing shift. which was nice because i really don't do it. i just remember adding even more "fruits" on to my "i-want-to-be-your-fruitfly" list and returning home to my roommates and giving them a long explanation as to why i kept changing my tights inside and out that day because of the holes in the toe part.
apparently, i'm a great drunk. which i'm proud to brag about.
i had no school on friday, so before work, sean, alissa and i hung out at the park and finally went down early to go sifting through records. alissa got purple rain and the top gun soundtrack, so we've seriously been listening to that all weekend, no matter how much sean and i protested.
saturday i made some amazing food. i made this incredible garlic dip that was seriously mind blowing and a tahini lemon sauce, all spread out on asparagus, broccoli, and carrots. my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
i've been eating so much lately. so has alissa. we've been digging through our fridge deciding what to eat. we're blaming it on the cold season coming up, except we've been having our indian summer.
sunday was awesome. i hadn't seen lee in two weeks and missed him a lot. it was his turn to come into the city, so we got burritos in the mission, and walked back to my house and ate them, watched an episode of freaks and geeks, and then headed to castro, where i bumped into kyle along the way.
which was painful, and my brother finally met him, and accidentally let it slip (after meeting him, but not in front of him) "you guys would make a cute couple." it seriously took me so fucking long to get over him, and now, i see him in the most random places and it really is agonizing. even though i love michael, you still see some old fling and you kinda get a sharp stab right in the gut.
moving on...
lee and i walked to the castro and then saw nightmare before christmas in 3D at the castro theater. it was awesome, and we saw two previews in 3D, one for a christmas carol, which actually looks pretty good, and one for alice in wonderland! which i am so so excited for.
after the movie, i still had an hour before work, so we grabbed chai and relaxed.
today, i was alissa's art piece. literally. she needed me for her art installment. she made a chicken wire type corset that was pretty painful, and stuck a bunch of flowers all over me. i had a bra and panties on, with thousands of flowers engulfed around me. then, 25 art grad students came in and critiqued it. which was a really bizarre feeling because i was basically objectified. hahaha but it turned out to be pretty good.
went to borders, came home, ate dinner, and that's that.
and lo and behold,
michael is planning on coming over tonight.
