This was found in the police logs in the Justice, the Brandeis news paper:
Oct 4 - There was a report of an individual in a gorilla outfit trying to steal a chair from the Farber Library. University Police responded, but were unable to locate anyone in a gorilla outfit.
Damn. I wish I knew the person who was cool enough to try and steal a chair from our library wearing a gorilla mask.... I'm also kind of surpised that Peter and I havn't yet tried this. Oh how I fucking love 'Deis sometimes.
