It’s currently 7:14 am Saturday and I am faced with the daunting task of sitting at the Spokane International Airport for another hour. This will be the first installment of my Cambodia Vacation, which will take place over the next three weeks.
Yesterday was a change for me, it was the first time I visited Spokane in, god who knows when. Chris and I left Pullman to stay at his home in Spokane Valley. (I didn’t know a Spokane valley even existed prior). On the ride to Spokane, Chris picked up his neighbor who lived in the Streit Hall. This kid could not shut up about marijuana, every ten seconds was another thing about how he either smokes marijuana or how he is getting his hand on the “sweetest shit.” Honestly we all love mary-jane but not as much as this kid apparently. After awhile I want to strangle him, but don’t do so, since Chris is trying to recruit him into the fraternity house.
Around 7 pm we arrive in Spokane, I make comparison to how it reminds me of Everett, Washington. At Chris’s house, I observe his father and he talk about World of Warcraft (WoW), I am obviously awed by this, but I suppose it’s cool. Anyways we did a bunch of nothing; Spokane is boring to us by 8 pm.
I pass out on Chris’s day lounge around midnight; I wake up at 5:30 am. We leave to the Spokane airport, its fucking cold and I fucking hate the cold.
6:15 am, I am in line waiting by sick people. I realize I’m in no rush to check in, seeing that my plane leaves at 8:30 am. But for the oddest reason I just want to rush though check in, anyways the check in girl was hot. By 6:45 am, I am flirting with girl in the gift shop. I ask for her suggestions about what magazine to purchase, even though I know I was going to by enquire. She suggests that I read Backpacker magazine (I was wearing a north face jacket and had a north face backpacking bag on). I slightly take offense to this and promoted me to leave.
It is 7:31 am right now, god damn writing this only wasted fifteen minutes of my time, oh well time to go talk to the girl at the coffee stand.
