I really should have taken pictures, but I was so cold, I didn't even care at that point.
I had parked my car at the Park & Go in Tswassen on Friday, not thinking about the snow warnings.
It's NOVEMBER! If it snows in NOVEMBER it's not much....right?
WRONG-O!
When I finally found my car, it was 5pm today.
My car was unber 9 inches of snow.
Good thing Mom sent me with a Squeegie.
Cleared off the door, while standing in almost knee deep snow, and turned the engine on and heater cranked.
It took me until 6.40pm to finally get out of the car park.
Almost TWO hours of being in the cold, and very wet.
Good thing Mom also gave my gloves to wear.
Also, double pants, double socks, double shirts and double jackets helped.
I almost managed to get out of there by myself.
I would have been so proud if I had.
Especially since my Squeegie broke once my car windows were clear.
A mini back-ho cleared me a path to drive onto.
A few guys came over to push me out of my muddy rut, which I had created.
Ahhhh....
Now it feels like winter.
So, is this what the rest of the country gets, but we don't?
Let's call it the Blizzard of 2006.
People reacted about the same!
