Nerdy Galore

Spent time at Winners HomeSense and Home Outfitters today.
I finally found my bed linen set!
Amazingly soft and comfy feeling.
Bonus being that they were 50% off, and by Nautica.
Lovely mellow sherbet orange colour.
100% Turkish Cotton.
I feel so decadent.
Going back there tomorrow to purchase two king-size flat sheets by Wamsutta.
280 thread count, 60-40 cotton-poly.
The sheets are a phenomenal shade of WaterMelon pink, and will be big enough to make a duvet cover out of.
The sheets are also 50% off, and I can get the flats without the fitted sheets!
The duvet has yet to be purchased, but through extensive shopping around, I found the one I want.
I just have to go to Quilts Etc before the end of May to pick it up (it's also on sale).
It's a down alternative duvet, for the sake of care and general flop-ability.
I also bought a set of back-up sheets there.
For $20, I couldn't argue.
Even if they are a far less thread count that I really wanted.
But, that why they're back-ups!
Now, the search is on for futons.
Anyone know a good place to investigate?

I'm going to need an old metal filing cabinet still.
I discovered Metal Paint is a good choice for repainting those ugly gray ones.
I'm hoping that abnoxious bright colours are available for painting purposes!

Granted....I'm still waiting on my school acceptance...

I also bought living quarters for my soon to be purchased fishies.
They are enormous wine goblets.
Once I get my two Bettas, they'll be Fishy Goblets.

My excitement about my sheets, and soon to be constructed duvet, was near demented.
Mother keeps giggling about how I'm 'feathering my nest.'
