The Metro blows. I was looking at their shows page and there's like 4 shows on the whole page for $10 and everything else costs more. They better kiss my ass on Friday or i'm not going back there for a long time. Mission Of Burhma is playing there sometime for $23 and it's 18+. They've been turning into dickheads since the Bottom Lounge opened.

I heard that they're officially stopping shows at the fireside now. apparently there's also talk of tearing down the bottom lounge to improve the belmont cta stop. wtf, mate

I heard there's been talk of that happening to the Fireside for a long time. The Bottom Lounge is out of the way fuck the CTA. I'll be one of those hippy assholes that stands in the building so they can't tear it down. I fucking live the Bottom Lounge. If they tear it down i'll burn down the Ice Arena.

since mpshows isn't booking anymore, all the good bands will end up at the bottom lounge. word on the street is the owner wants "the punk scene out of there."
