Aiko could only roll her eyes with the way Chinen has been acting lately.
'Damn this brat.' She cursed under her breath.
"Are you going to stay or-" He was cut off.
"No, I'm leaving. Thank you very much for your wasted time." She said sarcastically.
"Your welcome."
She rolled her eyes again.

"Really, I don't know what's wrong with him." Aiko told Ayumi, her co-worker in that shabby old cafe, but still, the best in town.
"Maybe you did something that made him upset."
"Oh really? Like what? He's the one who doesn't have time for me." Small water-like figures forming around her eyes.
She was right.

Rejected calls, answering machines, ignored texts.
And another one.
"It's Aiko! Leave a message." That annoying answering machine has been ringing in his ear the whole day.
"Damn." Chinen hissed. He was pressing 1 on speed dial the whole day.
And another one.
"Aiko, pick up." Annoyance, evident in his voice. 'I didn't mean to hurt you.' He thought.
And just about when he was losing hope...
"Hello?"
His face brightened up.
"Aiko, can we talk?"

"Hey."
"..."
"I'm sorry for being rude the other day."
"..."
"I'm sorry for being selfish."
"..."
"I'm sorry for being such a jerk sometimes."
"..."
"I'm sorry if I was flirtier than you or whatever."
"..."
"I'm sorry."
Short, slender arms sent warmth all over his short figure.
"I'm sorry for forgetting our anniversary."
Followed by a long sweet kiss.
