Miori woke up due to the worst case of stinky feet. It wasn't the sight you would want to see in the morning, especially when it involves two stars, most likely, a boy and a girl.
Miori would want to wake up with the scent of pancakes but all she got was...
"What the fuck, Yaotome!" She was able to cover her nose before she can throw up at her own bed. "Oi!" She pushed those stinky feet of her friend aside. "Wake up!"
You wouldn't want to see that.
Miori stood up, scratching her head because of the unexpected thing that woke her up under time. Normally, she will complain about that, but she saw a freezing Yaotome Hikaru on her bed, slightly...wet?
"Ne, Hikaru..." She touched his forehead a little and realized it was hot. "Oh my god." His fever was as high as Taipei 101. "Hikaru! Hikaru wake up and get dressed! You're soaking wet!" Miori realized that it rained hard last night. Oh shit.
She was supposed to pick up Hikaru from the set of Ikemen Desu Ne last night, but it rained so hard that she couldn't get out of her house ; and she forgot that she was supposed to meet Hikaru there. She waited for the rain to stop, but she was too tired and fell asleep. And now she woke up to some stinky feet and a wet and trembling Hikaru at the foot of her bed. But why was he there anyway?
"Moooom..." She called out, hoping that her mother was up at 7 in the morning.
"Yes, dear?" Relieved.
"Why is Hikaru here? On my bed? Wet. And he has fever!"
"Oh! Last night I was about to lock the door but I looked outside to check if the garbage was collected already and I saw Yaotome-kun sitting outside the door. I tried to woke him up but he was sleeping so I carried him inside and into your room."
"But you can just leave him here in the living room! He got my bed wet!"
"I turned off the heater dear, and this is your apartment for goodness sake. And he's your friend right?"
The talk was going nowhere. Obviously her mom just wanted her and Hikaru to sort of click. What a fangirl.
She went upstairs with a basin of water and some breakfast. Hikaru was there, chilling on her bed.
"Hikaru..." She gently woke her up, her hands making it's way to the boy's forehead. "Hikaru, come on. Wake up. Get dressed already. You stink." She covered her nose a little.
"Huh? What time is it? Where am I?" The blondie woke up with heavy eyes and red cheeks.
"It's 7:30. And you're in my house. Sorry I wasn't able to pick you up. You have fever by the way so get changed already!" Miori knows changing her bed sheets will be a challenge, but she really can't blame Hikaru. If it was someone else (without the fever), she'll kick him/her out of her house immediately. But it's Hikaru. And she doesn't know why she can't blame him. But she's got to have someone to blame. Although she can't blame him.
Hikaru came out of the bathroom dressed in Miori's bath robe. A pink one, and it's short. But she tried to hold back her laughter. He looks kinda gay there, though his legs weren't shaved. Moving on...
"Why didn't you call me? And why the hell did you run under the rain! Don't you know it was freezing outside!? You could have at least brought an umbrella with you! Or take a ca-"
"I just wanted to see you. Don't blame me." He said with a weak voice as he sipped on a congee. He doesn't like Chinese food that much. He just really need the medicine. "I'm not that stupid to run in the rain for no one."
That last sentence struck her the most. And it really did. "If ever you don't get it, it means I like you and I wouldn't do that for any other girls." He flashed his trademark smile and took another spoon full of his food.
"Thanks for this, by the way, and sorry for the trouble."
"..."
"Uh, Miori?"
"Ha? Oh. Sure."
"You know you're really cute when you're giddy like that."
"Shut up."
"I won't 'til you say "I like you too."
"That is really far from what you call a blackmail."
"I have a picture of you when you were sleeping in set yesterday. That dry spot of saliva hanging out of your mouth and I'm ready to leak it."
You devil.
"I like you too."
"Better." But after all, Yaotome Hikaru was born a joker. Miori didn't take seriously. And she didn't, really.
"You must be playing with me, huh, Yaotome-san? I was just kidding."
"You know, Miori, ask Kota if I'm lying right now and he'll say you're too stupid to not realize I'm telling the truth."
She was silent for a while. "What happened to the gal pals forever?"
"I have a fucking dick, Miori. You know what, fine. But I really won't run in the rain for someone who's name is not Miori."
"But there are a lot of Miori in Japan."
"Then the Miori who is sitting infront of me, talking to me, the one who own this apartment, the one I'm sharing oxygen with."
"..."
"Well, I'm not forcing you to believe me. I know that guilt is eating you up somehow. And don't worry. I'll be fine by tomorrow."
He wasn't fine the day after.
"You should probably go home, Hikaru."
"Get me my clothes first. I don't want to wear your robe for the rest of my days."
"Keep it. I don't want it anymore. You got your germs there."
"You can wash it. Well I think you're over reacting, love." She almost choked with the last word.
"Yaotome, I swear, I will cut your balls."
"You don't want your robe back and you think you can touch my balls?" A point right there.
"Fine. You win. And I'm a sore loser."
"You don't have to lose. All you have to do is say "I like you too" to me." He grinned.
"But why are you forcing me? You're making me say it." Fuck.
"Aha! So you do like me!"
"I didn't say it!"
"But somehow you did! Hah! You lose. And I'm fine now. I'll call Kota to pick up my clothes and bring them here."
"B-b-but..."
"Don't worry. I'll keep this as our secret, Mi-chan." He winked. "You're not good with games. And I got you."
"Fine. So you'll be my boyfriend then. Someday I'm really going to grab your balls and cut it off. If you know what I mean."
"Too early for bed, Mi-chan."
"Being early is better."
"Well good. At least I made you say it. It was indirect, thought it meant the same. Well, I have to call Kota now. He's probably still asleep but he can't resist me."
"Tchyeah. But fine. I like you too."
