I wasn't sure about how this all started. I was pretty sure that it was the first time I saw you. Your smile was brighter than all the stars combined, and I wasn't lying that moment I told you I love you some time after.
Then you just gave me a smile, a kiss on the cheek, I remembered you chuckling as you walked away.
I was determined to wait for you that day, on the same spot I saw you for the first time. Fortunately, you came. You don't know how much that made me happy. You have no idea.
I apologized for the heck of it. That moment I told you that I love you. I told you it was a joke, a plain lie. You smiled and your eyes disappeared as you said 'That's okay'. I sighed in relief.
We became close to each other and I remember us going out for lunch, maybe dinner occasionally. We would talk about the simplest of things, and laugh about the smallest. I just wish time would suddenly stop, the world will stop revolving. After some time, you muttered a 'Good night' and kissed me on the cheek, but I was persistent to walk you home. Nontheless, you said 'Sure'. I found myself walking beside you and my eyes never left yours.
But was it mutual? I know. It know it is. From the very bottom of my heart, I know it is. There is something. Something.
We reached her house and I know that I have to say it now. It's now of never.
"Goodnight, Ryosuke."
"Please..."
"Hm?"
"Please don't be inlove with someone else."
"What are you talking about?"
"Please don't have somebody waiting on you."
"Ryo-"
"Why can't you just-"
"Ryosuke..."
"..."
"I'm getting married next month."
