Busy
I suppose a quick update won't be bad.
So.
School is keeping me busy. I made some new friends, and met many through facebook (a crazy and wonderful piece of program) that I've lost contact with...Especially those from Ormiston; man, it's so good to see childhood friends and know what they're doing right now.
Today was my last in-car lesson with my driving instructor and I'm probably going for another extra lesson and then scheduling my road test. I'm feeling really confident right now with driving; thanks to the instructor I don't have much fear on the road compared to when I first started driving. Today I was on the highway driving back home and I felt so relaxed...I didn't think driving could be so much fun. (And those who know what happened to me, yes, this is a HUGE step.)
I've been sick for the past week and am still recovering, but honestly I haven't felt good about life for a long time. School is really keeping me busy in a good way. I enjoy all of my classes and I am loving one of my TA's that is teaching my tutorial. I want to attend all of my classes unlike the past couple years so I feel good in a sense that I know I can try to boost up my GPA this year. Work is really fun; I've gotten really close to one of my managers and she treats me so well. She once took me out to lunch and just last week we went grocery shopping (while I was still on-shift at work) for a Thanksgiving Food Drive. I really enjoy being around her and I feel so good about myself working there because I know I'm doing better compared to when I was in Oshawa. I know for sure I won't be transferring back there after working here in Markham.
I have never felt this happy with myself (especially regarding school) in a long time.
