Long Day, Long Week, Long Month, Long Year...

[Sorry I didn't proof read this...]

So things have been going generally well for me. As I type this, there is a naked baby in the pool... I don't understand how this works out, but I'll play along with it. Work as a whole has been pretty decent. Not really hard, and for the most part pretty un-stressful. Yesterday was a slow day, so I got to go home early. Nathan and I ended up going down to Best Buy and playing guitar hero for an hour and then heading back to his apartment. I think the people working there were annoyed with us, but I had phone sooooo... I guess they should be glad we graced them with our god-like middily mees. Today I got to go home again, which I shouldn't do for the rest of the week, because overall I've missed out on 8 hours of work. I just couldn't help myself though, since earlier in the day I was stuck with talking to an old lady on the phone for an hour and a half. She just wouldn't give up with her questions... She was trying to figure out how to used the "To do list" on her phone, and also learn how to send text messages. It was cute at first, but the more I was on the phone, the more I died inside...

I'm signing the lease to my new apartment tomorrow, sleeping on the floor for two days, and then renting a uhaul on Sunday to get my stuff from Belton and move it over here. Kind of stupid in a way, but 6 months is a long time to live without a bed and other random things.

I started getting all my things together to try and get into Temple University in Japan for the spring semester. Things are looking a lot better since I only need to show that I am able to keep my grades up. Two semesters worth of good grades and a couple of letters from my teachers should get me in.

I can't say that I'm totally excited about moving over there, but I'm sure in the end it will be a good experience. In one year there, I'll have received my BA and ready to enter the work force, which is really excellent since it feels almost like I was going no where with graduating. I guess we'll see how things work out the closer we get to January.

Some things are kind of crappy now, social situations and interactions have generally been on the decline and/or just overall crappy.

Tuesday, Darren and I went to the screening of Beerfest. I had a few beers prior to going, and then I ordered a pitcher and an extra pint during the movie. The Broken Lizard guys were there and I ended up getting a couple of autographs. Then, like the gods we were, we went to Molotov and actually got to hang out with the guys from Broken Lizard. I mean, hell, I got to play quarters with Eric (the rookie)and talked to him for a good thirty minutes. Then we all headed (they headed, we followed) to the Saxxon Pub (I think that's the spelling...) and there I had a couple more beers and then we met Johnny Knoxville, which was kinda weird in itself. Coincidence?! Pictures were taken, I threw up in the parking lot cause of the beer didn't want to play nice with the chicken strips I had during the movie. It was almost too much like a movie.

I woke up the next morning still drunk. Went to work and on the first call I could swear I was slurring my speech. I hope no one noticed. Things evened itself out after a lot of water and a good two full hours of reading Achewood.

aaaaannnnnnddddd.....

Fin.
