Update
Alrighty...
SO since my last post a few things have been going on.
1: Nightwish Concert. Fuck yeah! once again, I am thrilled to see that the band enjoys where they are now and that as their tour ends, it appears that a future album is definitely possible. Also, the opening band Volbeat. is pretty damn awesome. a band that uses Western composition, a rock n' roll vocalist, but all instruments are played as and sound metal. It is a great break from all the typical genres and bands out there.
Glad to know that there are plenty of people doing it right.
2: LAN's they are awesome. its great to see everyone again, and even greater to play games with everyone again. been to one at Tim's and held one at the apartment. and amongst Left4Dead, CounterStrike, Demigod and more, awesomeness ensues...

3: I am still single but with my ( in joking ) future wife, i think my next topic will be a bit easier to transition to........
4: I am moving.. again.... to Dallas.... again :P
I moved down primarily for my mother, and since at that time i was uber interested in audio technology, i figured since UTSA has a strong MUSIC department, id be fine....
WELL.... UTSA HAS a great music department......... but its all classical... and I still cannot actually read a music sheet... I can translate it well enough to where I can play off of one after I figure out the first note... XD and some of the extra symbols are easy to figure out of you have common sense..
thus UTSA is... the wrong college.... lol
Thanks to my Multimedia Productions course i was turned on my graphics and game design again.. :D
thus my journey to find a suitable college began starting with.. FULLSAIL!
definitely heaven in my eyes when it comes to colleges..
but the price is too much upfront...
theres like a 85% drop rate, and out of those who survive the accelerated program, most still whine like little bitches for not being handed a job or "they werent taught enough"
when the intelligent people obviously understand the way the world works for schools..
teachers and professors teach you the tools and the methods for application. They introduce you to concepts and theories for those usable theories....
it isnt their job to show you how to complete your assignments or tell you what every answer is..
people worthy of being in the design industry are passionate and ambitious,
ambitious and passionate people will go above and beyond protocol for the sake of teaching themselves...
like back in high school in the multimedia source with mr douglas...
he introduced people to photoshop and bryce..
I personally discovered that .gifs can hold audio data in the image itself,
i personally learned how to create an advanced movie for the project...
..
anyways..
point is... if you arent ambitious and driven like me, dont be in my field. :P else everyone else, including me, will trample you in the end.. purposely or not.. (never know with me though XD )
also it is recommended to be a "Self star" for my field.... gets your hired as long as you back up your claims... ( and i can ^____^ )

so i looked at other schools for design and such...

So i have applied, and done all steps required to attempt to enroll. if i dont have 30+ transferable hours then ill go back to CCCCD until i do.
and its greta because i havent lost any time :D
only gained tons of new experiences and skills.
honed my flash skills
honed my audio skills
honed my graphic skills in 2D and 3D..

im excited...
because since i will be in state... i can still visit SA... still attend LAN's..
STILL RUN MY D&D CAMPAIGN! :D
