Spazzmatic
This weekend, through a bunch of little things, has been AWESOME. I love it when things come together like this.
starrbeam came down to visit (sorry for not seeing you off better this morning =.= I meant to get up and walk you down to the bus station but my eyes just wouldn't stay open. But I've finished your X-Mas present and here's a preview of it, so I can hand it over at the con or mail it to you, either one.) Us, my friend Jess, sohalia and inkblotches went down to Moncton in a rented car which TOTALLY KICKS THE BUS'S ASS. Came down to only 16 bucks each total and we didn't have to take a damn taxi everywhere. Plus we got to leave at a time that was actually opportune.
Good times down in Moncton, got a bunch of stuff like new water dishes for my hamsters, a new sketch book *gnaws on it happily*, some artsy supplies, finally fabric for my costume, blank sticker paper and canday. Had the convention/general meeting after we got back and we have apparently reached just over 100 pre-registrants x_x
After that I was teeechnically supposed to go straight to a birthday party but I wanted to stop by Ducky's to check out the Guitar Hero competition first (HOMG HOW COULD I NOT) and ended up entering XD Made it to the 2nd last round but was ridiculously happy about the whole thing anyways because it was GUITAR HERO COMPETITION. Just the fact that it existed was making me spazzy-happy.
Went to the party afterwards and chilled out with icecream cake and fireworks which Chris kept insisting on setting in/aiming at the trees XD Nothing went up in flames but the whole thing was pretty funny. We kept having to shout 'PEDESTRIANS' and a few people came up and joined us to watch them go off, just to keep out of the road.
Also got my hands on a song so kickass it has its own Wikipedia entry. I had to download all the bits separately off Ares and then put them together with a little mp3-joining program and now I've been listening to it pretty much nonstop. Splicy mixy goooodnesssss. I'll post it up here when my computer can get over its retardedness long enough for me to upload.
Annnd today I've been doing little productive things like laundry for the first time since I've gotten back god I'm dirty and dishes and actually eating a meal and stuff. Now ahmma go return a video that undoubtably has charges pilin up on it.
