Alright so this is my second update, even though I don't have much really to report. My life has been pretty boring recently, mostly class and occasional drinking and tomfoolery. I can't believe that I'm going to be graduating in just a few months, I mean it's only a couple weeks till spring break and after that graduation is right around the corner. Still waiting to hear from the JET program, hopefully I'll find out once and for all by the end of the month whether I got in or not. To be honest I don't know how I feel about going back to Japan, my last time there was fun in a lot of ways and not so great in a lot of ways. I feel that living in Japan can be very alienating for anyone, especially for a foreigner. Still, I guess it's only a year and I've put enough time and effort into learning Japanese and studying Japan that I really owe it to myself to give it another chance. Besides if I don't go into some field related to Japan my $38,000/year education will be going right down the crapper, so I've gotta make something work out...
Oh my friend Yoko from AKP is coming to visit in a few weeks, it will definitely be cool to see her. We hung out a lot in Japan, it will be cool to hang out a little in America too.
