Running a game...
not as easy as it sounds. i'm starting off by using a pre-made adventure that Chibi pointed out to me with obvious changes made to npc and settings to allow for integration to my other game idea i've been throwing around. if all goes well, hopefully i'll be a GM that people will try to get drunk much like we try to get Rob drunk on occassion...
if you're interested, i'm using teh Death in Freeport pre-made from True20 gaming or whatever. with some modifications made. the maps in it are pretty good though, think i'll keep those. the rest will be tied into my idea of a church inquisition in which the government is trying to overthrow the major religious faction in a city by slandering the high priest. i'm not going to give much more than taht away as i know several of the players i roll with read this lol.
let's just say its gonna be fun, and i'll have to keep notes as i go because i tend to make stuff up as i go and forget aboiut it later, so if i forget something i said and the players try to use it to their advantag... lol bad things for the GM. good things for the players though as they could very well dictate the course of the game by making forget things strategically. so i'll keep a steno pad on hand at all times lol.
Oh yes, it's Christmas Eve, if you didnt know, lol. hope you guys have a merry holiday and a joyous new year. peace.
