before i forget it...
i just had the oddest dream. i drempt i was hired by this guy to come watch his kids for a bit. when i walked in, there were 3 large black dogs sleeping in the living room, and the father looked really tired. he said he needed to lay down for a bit and didnt want his kids to be awake alone. so he wanders off to the bedroom to catcha few z's. while i'm waiting for the kids to come home from school, i found the bodies of their mother and her boyfriend in the laundry room, behind a folding door.
from there it was kinda a blur, i had to watch the kids without exciting them, there was random veggietales music mixed in there, and it was... odd. when the father woke up, he said he wanted me to come back the next day to watch the emmys with them or something. after going outside to my car, i flagged down some EMS in the neighbor's lawn and told them everything. (for some reason the EMS truck was the size of a a large RV)... and they told me to go back in and act like i had forgotten something. so i did. i went in and told him i had forgotten something...
next thing i knew, i was in a chair with him leaning over me with a knife well... it looked more like a tiling trowel or one of those serated cake decoraters... anyway... i planted my foot on his scapula and grabbed his shirt, pried the knife outta his hand and threw it as hard as i could, then, holding onto his shirt, i swung him against teh wall, knocking him out. i ran out the door with the kids and that's when i woke up.
