Yeah, it's time once again for THings Sarah's reading/Watching and has found on teh internet :3
Currently reading: Gunslinger girl (i've just finished volume 3, going to start on 4 momentarily...*) And i'm going to read Death Note right after that... cause i've been hearing so much about it :3 (* Seems volumes 4 and 5 havent been released in the US yet... surprising, seing as how all the anime is available still... volumes 4 and5 that i have are in Japanese... and i cant read it -_-;;)
Currently watching: Jubei-chan 2: the Counterattack of Siberia Yagyuu (thank you, MJ!) I'm taking my time with it because my Boyfriend is supposed to be watching it, too... but he hasn't been home to sit ehre and watch it with me...
but... i'm about to start watching Witch Hunter Robin, maybe this will keep me away from Jubei-chan while Anthony tries to catch up :3
Lets see... what else... Oh, i've gotten teh fuill series of Kenshin in manga format now, i'm slowly reading through that to see if its different from teh anime. so far it seems pretty close, so i'm assuming they're about the same. It's kinda sad... when you see an entire anime series and THEN read the manga... it's liek you already know what's going to happen, you dont take hte time to enjoy the manga for its art... you just breeze through the story... anyway...
My friend on Secondlife asked me to name 3 anime series' i liked. I said Kenshin, Excel Saga, and dotHack, i think. Then i added on Gravatation and Azumanga Daioh. He reccommended a couple of series to me: Mushishi, eureka7, and 2x2 Shinobuden. i'm gonna have to do some research. If any of you know anythign abotu those 3, drop me a comment.
I also mentioned that i'd found out that Hana-Kimi, my most favoritest manga in teh world (which has 23 total volumes, and #16 has just materialize don my bookshelf) was made into a drama in Taiwan... I'm currently bittorrenting it. Hey, it's not illegal, because it hasn't been liscenced for the US. :3 They changed the names of the characters into Chinese names, but i'm sure I'll get used to it.
Since I mentioned it was a live drama, he reccommended me one of his favorites, i've found it, waiting for my other torrents to finish before i start downloading it... It's a korean comedy/drama (dramedy?) about a Mafiosi who inhertis a kindergarten. the title says it all: Great Inheritance or Kindergarten Love. I'm looking forward to it.
In ither news: I found an awesome site for all you fans of pop culture. I was looking at my new favorite comic,
Ugly Hill, When i saw a monty python banner at the bottom. I clicked and found myself immursed in pop culture items :D
http://stylinonline.stores.yahoo.net/ Stylin Online... it's got items from jsut about any series you'd think of as well as bands and artists i've never even thought had merchandise. There was a cute all pink Inuyasha t-shirt i wsaw at Hot topic a few years ago and had missed my chance yto purchase it... but it's there! now if only i had the money to spend on it...
hmm, my birthday's in June, and i wear an XL-XXL ;D *hint hint.* you guys know what i like :D
so.. yeah, they've got keychains and patches as well... so i'm gonna be browsing through there for the next few minutes trying to find some stuff to catch my attention and go "EEE, KAWAII!" to. in the meantime, check the music selection :3
alright, and... We bought tomatoes the other day... they were Nascar brand tomatoes. anythign to sell them, right?
So as i listen to teh sounds of the wind rushing past the door to the roof and a train in teh distance... i ask you to ignore my typos. :
