in personal news: my little cousin, teh one i was so happy for, cause she was going into the navy so she could go to college and do somethign with her life... has found out that she's pregnant. and she's keeping the baby. *le sigh*
I consider myself a "Conservative democrat" that is, I'm all for people's rights above those of the government, but i also consider myself pro-choice. In extreme cases. If a person is unable to support a baby at all and shouldn't be having a baby, i say abortion is an option. in rape cases, incest, and when the birth of the child threatens the life of the mother, i have no objections to an abortion. when a welfare mom or a high schooler gets pregnant, i can deal with an abortion then. but for a middle-class woman who simply "Doesnt want kids"... i dont like that.
