Right now I am sitting inside Powell library. It's really cold despite being June. I don't know what's up with today's greyness. I miss the blue skys we had this weekend. Maybe its just a Monday of 10th week thing. Yup. That's right. It's 10th week. I dont know if I have written a single entry all quarter, but let me tell you... I have done so much work this quarter, but somehow, I have failed at doing any school work. That is impressive. I am about to finish the quarter and I have to basically play catch up for all of my classes. Its hard to think about and I really dont want to start. Perhaps that is why I am writting this entry. Normally I wait until i have something really exciting to say or am stressed out or depressed... I dunno. However, through all the ups and downs i have experienced this quarter, I never had it in my to write it all down in my live journal. I guess I can summerize some of the main points from life.

I ran a campaign to get Dorothy elected to student government. I lost by like 1%. 88 votes out of at least a 400,000 person voting pool. Crazy. But I learned that student politics are the ridiculously complex and serious and important... I dunno. Just if you ever go to UCLA, remember to vote Students First and Independent... at least for my sake. If not, then because they prioritize things that student government should care about. They tend to know how to run the commissions... independent candidates are almost always in house which means, you know campus events is run by someone who knows what campus events does. And then, SF! fights for things like stopping fee hikes and maintaining financial aide and making sure that all people have access to our *public* university. Its a good fight that put up... but yeah, that took up alot of my life for like three-four weeks.

and then it was jazz reggae.

and then it was time to turn in applications for presidential appointments. and despite putting in lots of work and having a really strong application... I probably won't get it since a BU candidate won and she only forwarded BU people for the pres appointments. And that sucks.

and then this weekend, my roommate turned 21, so we had a little fiesta. It was goodtimes.

and know it is finals.

throw in some gardening, immigrant rights marches, getting in trouble for putting stickers on clothes that said "this was made in a sweatshop" and two weddings... and you might just start to get a picture of this quarter.

I love spring quarter for all its craziness. Its good being this busy so I dont dwell as much on how i miss argentina... at least now I have a set of "tango friends" and thats cool

anyways, time to study

un beso grande
