I had such a wonderful Saturday!
Started off kinda slow, I went to my job orientation at Taco Bell and met two Mexican dudes also there. We all got hired (and today's my first day.. Fucking cold) and it was nice. Then, I went to go tell Donnie I got a job at the same place he did and we rawked out for a bit. Then I went to the school to do stupid concessions and then went home to call Mr. Cary.
Cause, y'see, Mr. Cary is a wolf who lives not too far from me.
We decided to meet at the mall! So, I called and drove off, expecting to maybe need to play with my DS for a half hour or so before he got there there too. Getting to the mall, though, I found Manuel in the Arcade playing PIU again and so I joined him for a bit. It was only about ten minutes before I spotted a wolf with a cell phone wandering around aimlessly, looking lost. It was Mr. Cary! I hopped over and tugged him into the mall and introduced him to Manuel and there was a blast to be had playing PIU all together! Cary isn't too bad, but I'm better. ;3
Manuel is just scary when he plays...
Manuel left after a bit and me and Cary continued to play for awhile afterwards, then went to my car for water and the dropping off of stuff. I gave Cary his own water bottle, cause I'm so nice and generous. :3
We then went back into a mall to look at what movies were playing. Nothing really good was playing at a time where we could watch it, and he was paying for everything (I was broke), so I didn't wanna force him to pay for a movie he didn't wanna watch. So, instead we just sat and talked for a bit. That was really nice, because he was fun and easy to talk to. I like conversation, and he was good at both listening and sharing his own thoughts. After much talk was to be had, Cary said that he was kinda hungry, and there WOULD be food at the mall, but it turns out they close everything down at 6 pm on Saturdatys in the winter. We wanted to go somewhere good, that wasn't fast food or too expensive, and I suggested the Lighthouse! Their beer batter fries are the best!
So, off we drived! All the way to the foreign land of whereever the hell Lighthouse is, and we parked there. Cary then calls me to let me know that the place was closed! Yes, they closed at six too. I knew they were closed after seeing the place, and thanked Cary for his useless information.
Now we needed somewhere else to eat, and the only places within a reasonable distance from where we were, were Mc Donalds, Dairy Queen, and Subway. He wasn't in the mood for any, but was hungry, so we decided to go to the nearest place; this happened to be Dairy Queen.
Nyah! Off we drived to the glorious land of the Dairy Queen parking lot! There, we hopped out of our cars and stuff. We started walking to the entrance, but before we could be sucked inside, I saw something off in the far distance (also known as across the road). A...SUSHI PLACE!!!
I'd never had sushi, but wanted to try it! Cary is supa' Asian, so he knew exactly what was going on in that place! We went over and then I ran back to make sure my car was locked. It was, so I ran back in and we sat down to eat. I wasn't that hungry, and just ordered eight sushi rolls. Four crab and avocado ones, and four raw tuna ones! Cary had a big ol' meal of teriyaki chicken and rice and yakisoba and tempura prawns and other fried vegetables.
Good fun was to be had! I learned how to mix wasabi with soy sauce and to nibble on pickled ginger. He also let me snitch from all over his plate, and gave me much deep fried mushroom and zucchini. I liked that. :3
My sushi was very interesting. I ended up having two more after my first eight; they were rice bricks and one had a slab of raw tuna on it and the other had simmered eel with sauce. I think it was called ulnagi. I very much enjoyed my sushi and Cary taught me the proper way to ingest it through my face. It was really weird, cause it was raw, but good, and didn't feel gross...
Later, after we were all done and saying goodnight and going home, I guided Cary a ways until he was orientated enough to get home, and then made my way to my own. On the way there, I saw a little old indian lady holding out her thumb for a ride. Now, I know about hitchhikers, so don't lecture me, but she seemed innocent enough, I was armed with a knife in case something DID come up, and I wanted to pass on the kindness that Cary showed me by buying me dinner and paying for PIU. So, I stopped for her and she climbed in and I drove her for five miles or so.
Her name was Cathy, and she's lived in the area for forty five straight years. Missed her bus while bringing home a big bag of tabacco for I think her husband. She smelled like beer, too. She was really nice though, and told me of her neices and nephews driving off to other places to study, but she wanted to stay here. I enjoyed driving her, it made me feel really good inside to help someone out.
Then I just drove home, hitting 85 MPH on a long, empty stretch of dark road just because I could. That ruled.
Now, as for today, I got my first day of work at Taco Bell in about an hour and forty minutes. I'm sick as a dog, but so drugged up I hope I'll be fine... I can't call in sick on my very first day of work EVER! Nyah.
Not everyone is good luck and smiles right now, though... Three of my friends, Casey, Harry, and Jon, as well as some dude named Patrick (but the cops don't know about him, I know this through the vine) all got in a car wreck at three AM the other day. Casey was joyriding down Southshore road and hit a curve too fast on a dirt road and hit a tree. No one was hurt too bad, except for Jon, who had to be airlifted to Seattle. I heard he had plastic surgery today from Danaye... I hope the poor guy is ok.
Man, poor Casey, too... He had his liscense suspended for like three years, and this is gonna be on his record for the rest of his life... On one arm, kids here are idiots and it was bound to happen sooner or later, but on the other, damn... I like Casey, it's a shame he's gonna be carrying this burden forever. We can all count our blessings that they all survived and will recover, though.
So, nyaaah... That's my weekend kinda. Cary was really fun and we're hoping to start a furmeet every weekend or so to meet at the sushi place, bringing as many furres as we can into it. Geist, Special Bats, Cary and his roommate, and Loki the Coyote all might be able to make it sometime. This is exciting! Yay for furres!
I should get back to my homework before work taked up the rest of my day. <3
Love to furries,
Sai the li'l Skunkie guy
