1. Emergence
In the last two months Lord Sai did not leave the Magician's Tower. The young Lord spent all his time locked inside his workshop and took no meals. At times it seemed he was not inside the chamber at all. Days passed without a sound coming from his workshop until almost a full week passed in total silence and then a servant would hear the young Master moving about inside the large chamber. For weeks unease swept through the household, the servants concern for their young Master becoming more obvious with each passing day.
But alas, Lord Sai finally emerged from his workshop last week and with his presence breathed life back into the old tower. Although the young Lord is peculiar in his mannerism and his magic foreign and even frightening at times, he is still liked by many of the servants which is why his unannounced self-imprisonment concerned many of them. Though odd, he is kind.
The young Lord has kept what occupied him for so long a secret since his emergence. It is not our place to question the young Master, so the matter has been left as is. We are simply relieved that he is taking meals again. Though I doubt he went without sustenance. His body is the same as ever. I do not understand how, but he must have been taking meals during those two months. I am relieved.
