She's in her room -- not quite pacing the floor, for there's no reason to be nervous, now is there?

No real reason, say true.

And yet, although Susan Delgado (for now) busies herself with any of a number of small tasks to occupy her hands, her thoughts can't be so easily distracted.

Susan and Lilly are miniskirted and beglittered when they arrive downstairs and head towards the group waiting by the door.

"Here we are, guys! Everyone ready?"

Crowley waves hello to Susan and Lilly, as they approach in a sparkly whirlwind.

And yes, he is aware that being surrounded by this many shiny girls with this little clothing makes him look like a pimp.

Thank you for asking.

It is, quite possibly, a little odd to see a pregnant woman at a bachelorette party.

But then, Tonks is used to them, by now.

She's grinning, and wearing a halter top and skirt combination that makes the baby belly look... rather fetching, truth be told.

*Meg feels rather like she's wearing - well, less than underwear, by the standards of 1884.

She doesn't much mind it, though, as she waves cheerfully at the approaching Lilly and Susan.*

No slinky dress tonight, and no miniskirt. No glitter either, say sorry.

But Zoe still looks a bit less businesslike than usual, with her hair down, wearing snug-fitting khakis and a tank top under her coat.

She's also grinning. It's been awhile since she's been on a decent girls' night out.

Nefret is not familliar with miniskirts - they didn't have them in her time, and she's not been in the bar long enough to acclimate.

She's got a set of blue beads and a sharktooth necklace around her neck, and is wearing a blue sundress and brown coat, hair down.

And looking a mite apprehensive, as she knows Susan out of this crowd. That's it. But Tonks gets an extra smile - Nefret's an obstetrician, after all.

Anthy's waiting, with her mini Hello Kitty backpack, lots of pink, and a white cap; she smiles happily at Susan.

Don't mess with the Hello Kitty.

Susannah does not, traditionally, wear miniskirts.

She doesn't have the legs for it.

At any rate, when she rolls out into the bar to get a glass of red wine before dinner, she wears Eddie's I <3 NY t-shirt, which is big, and checked boxer shorts, and her hair is frizzy and tied back.

She sees the hordes of glittery teenagers and begins the laborious process of turning her chair around.

Susan is talking animatedly with those who've come to join the party, hugging various people, welcoming others, and generally beaming in delight, when she sees Susannah as well.

Ninjachair or not, gunslinger speed or not, she's across the room almost before one could blink.

"Susannah! Say ye'll come too--"

"Honey, no, I am too old and I look a sight. Y'all have fun, now, and I'll see you tomorrow for the wedding."

Zoe is hard on Susan's heels, smirking, her arms folded. "If I'm not too old, you're not. And were in a magic bar, so don't even try and say there's nothin' you could change into quick. Don't need to be anything fancy."

There's also a hint of something unspoken in her eyes. It's not quite 'please don't leave me stranded with all the mostly white mostly teenagers', but close.

Susannah's clothes flicker and change; a moment later, she's in a black and sparkly sleeveless top that knots behind her neck and a tight pair of dark denim pants that are tailored closed, not pinned back, with a wide belt. Her face isn't heavily made up, but there's enough to enhance and frame, and there are brief streaks of glitter across her cheeks, stars in a midnight sky. Her hair is shaped into an afro hairstyle that would have killed ten years after she left New York. Blue and gold ribbons are woven into the wheels of her chair.

She's gorgeous.

"Bar!" she gasps in a betrayed voice. "This isn't fair, the furniture is gangin up on me."

And Nefret stares, really quite taken.

She knew Milliways was not anything like she'd seen before, despite being from - well, all of the places they said she was, and being what she was -- but that's really just something.

"The future," she determines, "is really just ... quite frightening, in a sort of occasionally amusing way."

Nefret may be white, but she's no teenager, and she is also quite plainly observant.

*Meg looks smug - not that she has, in fact, done anything to be smug about - and gives Bar an affectionate pat.*

She's une demoiselle who knows her mind - and when she's made it up, there's not much you can do about it.

Zoe grins wryly at the young woman she doesn't know. "Honey, I live in the future, and I still get thrown off by this place."

Turning back to Susannah, she says, not at all smugly, "Now, you can't just sit around done up like that. You comin' or not?"

Lilly... well, bounces over. It's a party. She's not crazy. There will be bouncing. if God wills it. Her mun has been called Crack Jesus. Close enough.

"Hey Susannah! You look totally hot. So, we should get going before Eddie spots you and tries to keep you here for himself."

The possibility of Susannah getting out of coming along has not even entered her mind.
