Thoughts on how I play Sai. Good? Bad? All critiques, please comment here. We all stray from time to time so it's always a good thing to be pointed back in the right direction. Praise also welcome because when is it not. XD

Firstly, I just want to reiterate what I said about loving your Sai. You play him well as a combination between his initial introduction (and how much of a bitch he can be to those he doesn't know) and his slowly-developing but very awkward social quirks. X3 It's endearing. (I'm also glad you took him from somewhat later in the manga, as I utterly hated him when he was first introduced. >_>;; )
I do have a quick crit, though, more on grammar than on characterization. Hope you don't mind; I'm a grammar nazi and sometimes I can't help myself. ^_^;
You could benefit from being just a little bit more liberal with commas. Generally, if you hear a pause in a sentence, there should be a comma. This is not always the case, of course, but it's a good rule of thumb. It's especially true with parenthetical phrases (in this post, there should be a comma after "hell" to set off "moron") and clause separation. This post's last sentence is made rushed and awkward with the lack of commas. "Don't worry, I don't want to sketch you, just your red-haired lover" is more correct.
*bow bow bow* Sorry if I'm overstepping. I like helping people correct their grammar, since I seem to have some skill in English grammar and syntax. I do know some people don't want crit on their language, however, per se; so I do apologize if this seems at all rude or out of line.
*bows again* And thank you again for playing a wonderful Sai. I look forward to more interaction between him and Deidara~

I'm glad you like my portrayal of Sai, I know most people don't like him simply because of his first introduction (which I absolutely loved) and tend to keep their initial opinion of him, even after he changes later in the manga. I like to let people see that he isn't all that bad, but simply another misunderstood soul with very bad social skills... very very bad sometimes. >_>'
All crit is welcome, including grammar. XD And lol I am pretty liberal (more than I should be sometimes) with commas. I looked at the two posts and you're right on both counts. I don't know why I didn't catch that. But 2 am in the morning for the first post and tagging with a second character at the same time in the second post tends to lead to mistakes. However, that doesn't change the facts. XD
I will keep your words of advice in mind. I'm aware that I sometimes make grammar mistakes with Sai simply because I write down my first response to a comment right away. When I tag with him, I tend to have an initial reaction and write it down quickly before it goes away. It simply works out best that way and it's how I play him. But when I do that I'm prone to make mistakes, mistakes that I don't always catch right away. I will make sure to look more closely at my grammar from now on, though I can't promise perfection. Thank you so much for your critique! I really appreciate it because it only helps me play Sai better. <3
*pets* You're not overstepping any boundaries. The posts says all critique! Thank you for spending time to look over my own character, and it's not rude at all. ^_^
Again, thank you very much for the critique and for the praise on my characterization of Sai. *Always a bit worried with that one* I look forward to more interaction with your wonderful Deidara too!

Your way of playing Sai with quick-reaction comments certainly works for characterization, so hey, I won't dispute that even a little. ^_^ I just figured since I'd seen dropped commas here and there on some posts, it wouldn't hurt to point it out.
Also, thank you for being understanding and logical, heh. I'm always kind of wary about giving critique, given some people's bad reactions to getting it.
*loves* And bah, you don't need to worry about Sai's characterization; that one you have down with no issue. ...Bwee, and thank you again for all of your compliments on my Dei. <3

It's the only way I can play him. It doesn't hurt at all. I'll definitely watch out for that from now on. ^_^
I play a very logical character, I couldn't do it without being logical myself. Critique is good, especially when done correctly. <3
O///O I'm so glad I'm not messing him up. And you're Dei is awesome, of course I'd compliment him. \o/
