So tonight we boiled 12 dozen crabs. We've got left overs for days; if you want some, just call. Seriously.
And I saw Nancy Drew with the bottomless pits and my sisters. I was pleasantly surprised. I've never been a big fan of the Nancy Drew series and Emma Robert's interview with the Good Morning America ladies + Oprah's friend didn't make the movie seem too promising (she didn't show good character understanding at all). But it had its funny moments and its spooky moments and its poignant moments. Over all it left me with a good feeling when I walked out of the theatre.
And it was raining when we got out--that's one of my most favorite things in the whole world: going into a movie theatre when it's bright outside and coming out to find that the sun had gone down or that rain has started.
I also saw the trailer for the Bratz movie. Yes, these bastardized dolls now have girls made to look just like them and someone apparently thought it would be a good idea to disgorge these mislead souls + a half-baked plot onto a movie screen. If you thought Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen was bad, this seems to be in another league entirely.
Daddy Day Camp, the Daddy Day Care sequel starring Cuba Gooding Jr. instead of Eddie Murphy, looks pretty awful too.
