Taxes are done
I finished our taxes last night and got them e-filed. We actually came out better than I was expecting. We owe North Carolina a little money, but we're getting a refund from federal. Even after paying our North Carolina taxes, we'll still be almost $1,000 ahead so I'm happy. I just wish I'd e-filed a day or two sooner though. I was looking at the refund cycle chart and if I had filed a few days sooner, I could have had the refund on February 8th. Since I didn't get it done quick enough, I have to wait until the 15th. Granted it's only a week more, but I'm impatient.
