For those I haven't already told, I got a new job, and kisses Circle K goodbye!
I'm technically under the employ of a temp agency known as Staff Management, working for a company known as
Cable One. It is a cable TV and net provider for small towns around the country (a couple with VoIP), currently serving 19 different states including Arizona and Texas. I am in traning for the Tech I position, which pays a whopping $13.50 and hour (vs. Circle K's $8). The training is paid at $13, sill a nice number. The company seems really fucking cool, and so far I seem to be well liked, despite being the youngest person in the training class (the next guy is 25). Did I mention that when I become an associate after 3 months, they will pay $75 a month on any cable bill? With that, and Erin being on state insurance (AHCSSS or some shit, pronounced 'access') which will pay for her birth, we are planning to stick around for at least a little while. I have been looking at apartments with my ex-coworker Charles (who's computer I am using), and we're thinking of getting a one-year lease.
Also, according to her visit to the OB/GYN today, Erin is acutally 6 months and 1 week along, a week farther than they said last time. I would like to believe that doctors actually know what they're doing with how confident they act, but it's so hard. Y'aaaarg.
Anyway, I need to get my ass to bed. Enjoy the update, if ye can.
