Movie Review: Alice in Wonderland.... Go and experience the world of Wonderland!!
If you like and appreciate Tim Burton's movies, then you wont be disappoint for a bit. Alice in wonderland is a visual treat, the characters look is at their creative best. The way the movie has been made is something which one appreciate. The screenplay is tight and not for a moment you feel bored. It's a fun ride from start to finish. I am not a big fan of such fantasy movies, but I thought this was very well made and captures your attention superbly.
All the actor performs well in the film. Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter is at his hilarious best and gives many funny moments in the film. Mia as Alice gives a very natural performance. Helena as Red Queen is superb in a negative character and gives an awesome performance in fact Red Queen is my favourite character from this movie, she is awesome as mean selfish queen. Anne as White Queen have not much to do in the film, but whatever she had she was nice.
The visual effects are awesome, each thing in this movie is not less then spectacular. As I said it's a visual treat for your eyes.
There are comic moments in the movie but not enough, I wish Burton had put more humour in the film so it had been more funnier film.
Overall it's a good film and I recommend to only those people who enjoys fantasy films and likes Tim Burton's style of movies. Believe me the movie wont disappoints you if you go with less expectations. Go and experience the movie but ONLY in 3D.
