Hmmm (How many entries have that title?)

Hey, I'm supposed to be doing a big Unit Plan for Methods...but I lost interest. I've checked all my usual websites, and wasted much time with idle chatter, so now I turn to the last refuge of procrastination- the lj entry.

So, things have been pretty not too bad lately. I'm enjoying life at the moment.

Me=getting a car!!! Soon. My parents conceded that I will, in fact, need one for student teaching next year, so they said I should look over spring break, and try and find one. I ought to get one before I go to Bayview this summer...so my ultimate hope is that I find something that runs during spring break, buy it, and come back with it. That, my friends, would be killer. Probably wishful thinking, I'm sure I won't get anything for a while...but I'm definitely stoked for that remote possibility.

Speaking of which, Bayview this summer is a probability that is starting to shape up. We actually have a full quintet now, so as long as we make a good audition cd, it ought to be sweet. That will be a blast, I'm sure of it.

What else?

Trumpet's been good to me lately. We've had our differences in the past, but now we're starting to see eye to eye.

Speaking of which, I think it's pretty sweet that the Pilss Concerto has never been played, nor heard, by anyone at this school. Not even Dr. Jones. I'm doing it for my recital, I think I'll put up flyers advertising that unique fact.

Now that I'm doing Pre-Intern teaching with a high school band, it's a lot more fun. I had troubles dealing with middle school kids, and I can be more natural at the high school level, so I'm totally into teaching right now.

Will I get in trouble if my junior recital flyers have a picture of me on the roof of the Gilmore Complex? Hopefully not.

Real entries are pretty lame.

The end.

P.S. I hate hate hate hate hate the grading system in Methods. I think it's complete bullshit. You have these huge fucking papers every other week that barely even count towards your grade. And the evaluations for teaching? Very useful, but I'm not going to walk around the room and babysit various sections in a high school band. Laaaaame. I'm not gonna finish this Unit Plan, I decided.
