Classes, laptops, and Pepe
I was going to be cool and make an html table, but I'm too lazy. Classes this term:
MW 12:30-1:45 Knowledge, Rationality, and Understanding with Nicholls
W 11:00-11:50 Mentored inquiry for KRU
TR 2:00-3:50 CS202 with Karla Fant
There's also a senior capstone in there, but no lecture time scheduled. The students in my group just have regular meetings (Wednesday 7pm and Friday 10am). I hope the Wednesday night ones don't conflict with anime club. >_<
Karla's class is going to be somewhat easier for me than for most people, considering I've already had experience with Java's inheritance and (I have Jamey). I'll probably bring my new laptop to class, since Karla tends to rant about some simple concept for way longer than necessary.
I ♥ my neko. We've already got my new laptop running debian (bye-bye Windows XP and IBM access partition). Jamey thought the name neko was a good choice, since it's so light and agile. Plus it's so quiet! I can actually hear my air filter running now instead of hearing nothing but white fan noise. But enough of my drooling.
Silly Pepe. I could tell he was feeling better this morning because he jumped onto the hanging hammock (which is higher than his pigloo) to climb over his pigloo. He's been separated from Einstein for the last two days, because I didn't want Einstein bullying him. Yesterday he just wouldn't eat any pellets, and I had to handfeed him and tempt him with parsley and carrot-pellet mush.
This morning he still didn't show signs of eating any pellets, and he was chewing on the square that separates him from the ramp to Einstein's section. So I put him down with Einstein, figuring he might want some company for a while. What does the buggar do first thing? Go to Einstein's food bowl and eat a pellet. The darn pig won't eat his own food, but he'll eat Einstein's. *headdesk* I'm not sure if Pepe was going on a hunger strike because he wanted to see Einstein, or if it's easier for him to pick up a pellet when the bowl is more full. *sigh* At least he's eating.
