LOOOONG summer days and reflecting on Princess Jo
Now that Jolie is at a full-time preschool, I have all this free time...with nothing much to do. I mean, I try picking up and cleaning around the house but that only takes no more than 2 hours. I'm bored and it's too darn hot to venture outside after 11am.
I miss my little Princess...but I'm glad she's having a blast at her new school and meeting lots of new friends. I guess that's a part of being a mother...knowing when to let her go and explore her world.
All her teachers comment on how friendly, sociable Jolie is, how she has a positive outlook on everything. I still remember when she first started in an infant program shortly before her first birthday; she used to be so clingy and attached to me, and would put up a good fight whenever I tried to leave. Now, she has become such a social butterfly, always including everyone and she's a friend to those who are too shy to initiate play. I'm so proud of my baby!
