Because I think way too hard on stupid things.
I had no where else to stick this, so it might as well be here. This is just my headcanon and my way of explaining what we do know about troll anatomy. I've seen some crazy theories and drawings of what people think is going on in their pants, I personally went a really simple route in comparrison. Hermaphroditism. It easily explains how gender doesn't seem to play a roll in the sharing of genetic materials.
Males have a more prominent bulge while females have breasts, which I think are probably vestigial since trolls don't carry their own young, while they might have at some point in the past.
Guys actually have a bone in their bone bulge while girls do not (female's being completely retractable while male's only part way), and when erect the male's bulge has a ridge similar to a spine alone the underside. The urinary tract is hooked up differently between the two genders. Though with the anatomy being so close, perhaps there's an aberration here or there (maybe Vriska has to pee standing up derp derp).
The ever confusing 'seed flap' would be what we humans call the labia majora which function like testicles, just not in ball form and equally as sensitive to kicking.
Genetic material is received nook-ways, and after a fertilization period it's released bulge-ways into buckets for the drones to collect. Girls do it, boys do it, maybe even you and I can do it. Lets do it. Lets fill some pails.
