[005] video/action

[Equius is never one to start his own videos, letting his Machop or his Ponyta be the ones to initiate such foolishness among foolishnesses, and this time was no exception. Though this time, it was neither of them who turned the camera on -- it was Painty, Nepeta's Smeargle. The camera's fixed on him as he did a bit of "training" on his own, on the ( Read more... )

.... Kinda like you just did, actually.

...

Am I correct in assuming you've lost someone this important since arriving?

... Yeah.

[Heather doesn't talk about it much, least of all to strangers... but hey, it's high time she got over it, right?]

[Besides, tree-puncher here was sort of bringing it all back.]

Only with me? It was walls. Not nearly as therapeutic as you might think, though, so... I don't recommend it.

[She still had knuckle-scars.]

I would rather not destroy someone's hive as it is, anyway. [He'd probably punch clean through the plaster after a couple hits.]

It would be much easier to work this out, if I could just manufacture a simple, working robot. The circuit boards I've attempted to make here aren't nearly powerful enough to handle a kill setting, however.

It makes them much too weak, here. I broke them easily.

[... Building robots to take out anger on. ... She could dig it.]

People around here don't seem to support beating anything up with your own fists anyway, I've noticed.

You're supposed to let the animals do all that for you.

I've never really taken a liking to that idea.
They are much too small -- even my small musclebeast is weak compared to the fauna where I am from.

And so I am out here, where the people native to Johto won't notice.
At least, not until I've left the area, of course.

[Destroying things in secret is annoying compared to just destroying things, but it works. B)]

Really? ... You must be from somewhere pretty crazy, then. [These things were a lot more resilient than the monsters she had fought at home... they could handle being burned, stabbed, poisoned, electrocuted, and just plain, old-fashioned beaten up-- all ways that Heather had killed before-- and would still get up after some rest and patching-up as though nothing had ever happened. Dang.]

Anyway... the police here are kinda sticklers about that sort of thing, so... watch out for 'em.

I am not sure if crazy is the right word for it.
... It was a rather strong planet. Nothing like the worlds humans reside in.

I will keep my eyes open for the police force, then.

... Hn. I'll take your word for it, I guess. [She wasn't sure she wanted to be trying to explain the Otherworld to a total stranger... even if she WAS willing to bet it'd turn any sane person's view of Earth upside-down to know what kinds of things lurked under the thin lines between 'reality' and the other place.]

Do that. They're annoying as hell.
