As before I do kind of suck at updating this, but I am working on that.
Recently many things have been going on...and mostly good!
I have been working 30 hours a week in the Provost Office on campus. I am waiting to see where I will be in the fall, and then I will hopefully get a second job. I have also been working out again...and I have been enjoying it.
I went home on Thursday for my Dad's birthday. I got to see my family, including my aunt Judy and my nephew!
Saturday morning I came back to Akron and then went to see Sam. Sam and I went out to eat at the Macaroni Grill...it was an interesting time. When we got seated we had a Waitress and we had her for a while. Later a waiter came to our table and said that our waitress had too many tables so he would be helping us (we found this wierd because she only had one other table besides us). A little bit later a previous waitress came over and said that she gave the table to him because he had asked if he could wait on us...the funny part is that he wasn't really even a waiter, he was a bartender, LMAO. When he brought our check he asked Sam and I if we wanted to go out with him and his friend....haha, we said no, but he got an extra dollar tip for his forwardness. HAHAHHAHAHA!
Later that night we went to hang out at BW3's and watched UFC and came back to Akron, it was a blast.
Here comes what I was super excited about, I got to start something that I have been researching and tring to get into...I started fire dancing!!! I started on Poi which is a type of fire dancing equipment, they are chains with attached kevlar balls that get lit on fire on the end that you swing and wrap around, it is amazing. I didn't get to do it with fire last night, but it was still great. The person that is teaching me told me that she has never seen someone catch on as fast as I have! I am really excited about this and enjoy it so much!
...One other thing I started...most of you won't believe this...I started fire eating and breathing!!!!!!!!! With the fire eating we didn't get to the point where we completely ate the fire...but we had the wands and played with the fire by touching it to skin and what not and then by licking the flame...yes, actually touching out tounge the the end of the wand where the kevlar is lit on fire!
...the the fire breathing...it is actually the most dangerous of the fire arts. It is awesome.
I may be getting involved with a troop that does this kind of stuff and more. The person that was teaching is involved and heads the troop and she and some of her girls said they would like me to try it out. I am going to be going to there parctices and maybe joining them!
I guess that is my update for now...but I think that was a pretty good update!
