READ SANS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night was rockin. I’ve never in my whole life been surrounded by so many individuals of the skater shoe, band t-shirt wearing, metro emotional, white studded belt community.
First, I picked up the San after many calls to people who changed their minds about supporting our emo lunch mates *wink*. I’m pretty sure I memorized the address to the Alexander Carr Café after hearing it so many times. I doubt ill ever go there again if Arwen has been kicked out for good, but anyways… San and I got there and contemplated rolling down the hill and talked about how the Café was a shackish house that wasn’t even band room size that had a board reading ‘W T F’ (which till before being told it was the days of the week, thought it was ‘wtf’.) One of the rules, which there were many, was a NO MOSHING rule. Big signs everywhere. Oh naïve me to think there wouldn’t be any moshing anyways… So San and I chillaxed while watching some skater punkish guys carry equipment and an occasional guitar and bag of mics. Then Dimitry and Ethan came with some girls, we hung out with them most of the time before the show started. San and I attempted to explain 'moshing' to an adult that just didnt get it. I called Danna on San’s phone because I wanted to include her… I described the crowd, she talked to Dimitry, I told her Htes was there and that there was a guy with the Gryffindor crest on the back of his sweatshirt. So after a while we got stamped and went in. Dimitry ran out the door with Ethan just like 2 girls rushing to the bathroom together. An acoustic band came on which got no support from the crowd, oh well. Then The Knock Off came on. They were ok. The guitarist (Matt) was insane, he reminded me so much of Edward Scissorhands, he had such a distressed sad ‘almost gonna cry’ look on his face; he really loves to dance with his guitar. Then it was either The Mourning Sky or some other acoustic band that came on… who cares about the acoustic band so… The Mourning Sky was ok; the screaming was stupid, who cares about your ex-girl friends geez, but its emo right so im just being hypocritical. Then a copper came in. No apparent reason though. The Mourning Sky jumped around a lot, I have a smart fear of being paddled with a guitar neck or perhaps being shredded with some metal pegs that were being slashed through the crowd. I’m fine now though. Then the ear plugs came, 0.o, yay for free samples!! Hehe. Bedroom Mile went up, Dimitry and Jeff were overly enthusiastic about their passionate hate towards the band and so decided to stand in the crowd, Jeff all the while singing the words to every song the whole night, then being Ethan’s imposter. So then stuff that I cant remember, much loudness, and texting (to this awesomely hott cool kid who knows who he is *wink*) for the heck of not just sitting there and not being able to hear Dimitry and San swap jokes even when they were sitting right next to me. San had a burst of energy due to her over dosage of Airheads. Then the crowd got… rowdy… no moshing you idiots!!! They (Jeff, Justin, prolly Ethan too and a couple other testosterone pumped guys) picked up the guitarist of Arwen and sent him crowd surfing into the rafters. Arwen was undoubtedly the best show of the night even though they lost $127 for breaking the rules and were threatened by the owner of the Café. She was gonna call the cops if everyone didn’t leave in 3 min. Arwen members said that the Carr Café sucks anyways and that everything they did was gonna be around school. Which it is, and should be cuz they rock. Then San and I gave Dimitry our doe for demo’s, they were gonna be sold at the Manchester Taco Bell where the band was goin after. Then San and I walked down the road a bit to not be at the Café when/if the cops showed up. Dropped the San off then went home. Went up Cilley, stopped at the light before Jays, saw a cop car, laughed to myself, then got home around 9:45 and was kinda pissed that my parents wouldn’t let me on the internet despite the fact they had been on it since 5:30 when I left.
And yeah, long entry but I still left stuff out. All in all it was a good time. Good times yo. All true too.
The night - Made possible by a lying teenager and monotone voices and treating parents as they treat us.
