Am I a good Zelda? Or am I horrendous? Tell me, I love hearing people's feedback. =) And I'll do anything to improve if I need to.
Name: Princess Zelda of Hyrule
Series: The Legend of Zelda
Universe: OU
Age: 20. This is Twilight Princess!Zelda, and if memory serves me correctly, the Zelda of this game was a bit older than some of her earlier versions, but not too old of course. My collector’s guidebook also thinks she’s this age. I think this age fits her appearance as well, to be honest.
Gender: Female.
Species: Hylian.
Powers & Abilities: Zelda is the bearer of Wisdom; one of three pieces of the Triforce. It’s said that when Hyrule, Zelda’s world, was created, the three Goddesses left this sacred relic behind. It’s basically Zelda’s fate (though she’s not too happy with it) to wield the Triforce of Wisdom and its powers. Her powers, you ask? Magic. Epic magic.
Point of canon to be drawn from: The Zelda I’ll be using is from Twilight Princess. The point of the story that she was in before she was transported to Crucen was before she first meets Link.
Personality: Zelda’s a smart cookie. She’s very wise for her age despite the fact she’ll more than likely discover her follies when it’s already too late. Because of this, she tends to get herself into trouble and because of this little problem of hers she will usually beat herself up mentally, making her unsure of herself at times; she’s a bit insecure, you see. Despite all this, Zelda is a refined young woman that tries to see the best in everyone and, if asked for help, she will be there. However, her suspicion-radar will go off if you seem to be a shady person. She also has a very good understanding of people’s emotions and has a knack for telling whether you’re happy or upset. Overall, she’s a nice gal.
Appearance: Zelda is roughly about 5’6”, fair-skinned, and curvy. She has a thin face with big blue eyes, a small nose, and full lips. As a Hylian, she also adorns elf-like ears. She also has long dark-blonde hair that reaches near her hips. When she first arrives at Crucen, she’s actually seen in her Twili garb; a long black hooded cloak with mysterious designs etched on the back of it. It’s used to protect her from the Twilight Realm. Underneath it, however, is her usual Princess garb. Of course, this may be subject to change due to having to fit into this brand new world. Also, she can be seen wielding a rapier.
History: Zelda was born into the Hylian Royal Family, making her the princess and heir to the throne. Unfortunately, not much else is known canon-wise about Zelda’s life up until right before Twilight Princess began, so I’m just going to assume that life was normal for her, well, for a princess anyways. Someone may have trained her how to use a sword as well, seeing as how she also wields one. Nevertheless, life must’ve been easy-going for her.
Unfortunately for her, the King of the Twilight, Zant, found Hyrule to be quite… vulnerable. And so, a great battle ensued in a futile attempt to save Hyrule from shadow. Mind you, the King of Hyrule is completely absent during this time, so I’m just going to assume he was killed somewhere along the line, possibly making Zelda a queen? Who knows, but moving on… Unfortunately, Hyrule Castle was soon under attack. With her men dying left and right, and a huge fire that was soon spreading towards the city, she lost all hope and in an attempt to save her people, she forfeited Hyrule to the Twilight Realm.
Twilight rapidly spread across Hyrule. Without light, the people of Hyrule turned into spirits, but continued on with their life, completely ignorant of their own fate. The only thing they knew now was the feeling of utter terror of a nameless evil. Zelda was left alone in one of the towers of the castle, forced to wear a dark cloak to protect herself from the Twilight. She remains as her kingdom’s princess, forced to watch her land slowly die from the cursed realm that is Twilight.
