I Lied
I got my computer back last... Friday, I think, and completely forgot to update. I'm not entirely sure who actually reads any of this, if anyone, though, so I don't think it's too big a problem, haha. It serves as sufficient Nerd Thought Space, and that is good enough for me.
Anyway, as I said, my harddrive failed. Toshiba replaced it, but I had to pay for the postage one way. I learned from this, basically, that Nintendo has better-than-average customer service. (Oh, and that UPS is dumb and I am never attempting to use it again.) Go, Nintendo! I should send them complimentary fanmails for their customer service people. I can't even imagine what kinds of weird, crazy, angry people they have to deal with, probably every day.
I was using my PC while it was gone, which was, uh, productivity-limiting. I could be on Skype and nothing else, or the internet and nothing else.
I caught up on The Legend of Korra with my newly restored powers of sound and stable CPU memory, and... didn't really like the end, though I almost cried for some reason (?). I don't know. It was an entertaining show, but it just isn't on the same level as its predecessor.
I'm also caught up on Homestuck. Calliope, you are a sweetheart and I feel so awful for you. :[
