I Heard the Bells
There's two and a half inches of snow outside, our Christmas tree is up, and I'm going to try to finish some of my Christmas shopping today! We like to start early. |D
I found a copy of FullMetal Alchemist in French recently and plowed through it a chapter at a time so it would last longer. I actually understood a lot more than I thought I would, especially given that there's terminology and slang in it. As an interesting plus, I have the same book in English, so it's neat to be able to compare the differences in the jokes, especially puns. I love localization.
Uh, by the way, on a more random note, I just learned from experience that if you're feeling discouraged artistically with your painting/music/whatever, seriously don't look up solutions online. "Artistic" people are so pretentious that I think they might actually make things worse!
