Lamenting the demise of zestful life
Horizons eclipsed by emotional strife
I can see the red-orange doom
Looming distant like sapphire taunting
Misery’s sharp, ruby eyes fixed on me
Finding my weaknesses and capitalizing on them
Devouring me with reckless abandon
