Meri Stark sits cross-legged on the ground. She cracks a smile and speaks, "Anyone who has even heard of my father in passing knows his reputation with women," she laughs, "and I suppose that's why he's so overprotective when it comes to me. He doesn't want me falling for some guy who's just like him. I can understand that." She shrugs, "Pepper ( Read more... )

"I wouldn't know. I never went to school. In my experience, they come in 'taken', 'gay', and 'not really my type'."

"All guys aren't the same," says a quiet looking blond softly from where she seems to be hiding behind a tree. "But... I don't really know how to see that before. I've only fallen for one."

Meri frowns, "It would be nice if we could be psychic when it comes to guys," She smiles a little, "I'm sure dad won't mind though. If I stop going out, there's less boys for him to chase off right?"

"Um..." Yes, she is hiding back there, her hand tightening slightly on her pink nylon shopping bag as she ducks her head timidly. "Chase off? I... Well, I don't really know. I'm sorry."

In defense of my gender type, not all of us are that way... I never really saw the point of being dishonest... Granted, I never really had a girlfriend while I was in high school... But don't give up hope... There are honest guys out there. It just takes boys longer to grow up and stop caring about whether the girl they're with is a hottie or not, and other superficial crap like that. If a guy really cares about you, he'll look past the rumors and the like, and he'll want to be with you for you.

If Meri checks, she'll find that the message is coming from a blond guy in his mid-twenties. Yes, the one toting a basket full of blankets towards that brownstone a ways off. Dennis isn't exactly known for having a lot of common sense at times.
